Join us for the first annual CREATIVE B summer program Game Things! Game Things includes two events this summer, the Gator Game Jam and Gator Game Bash. Funded by the Office of the Provost, Game Things is a partnership between the Digital Worlds Institute and the Department of Computer & Information Science & Engineering.  

Gator Game Jam

This first event is a 40-hour team-based video game development competition that will look at all aspects of making a quality game, game design, game art, game engineering. 

  • Friday 7/13/2018 at the Digital Worlds Institute REVE
    • 6:00 pm: Registration
    • 7:00 pm: Kick-Off Presentation
    • 7:30 pm: Jam Start
  • Sunday 7/15/2018 at the Digital Worlds Institute REVE
    • 11:30 am: Game Submit
    • 11:30 am - 1 pm: Tabling and Lunch
    • 1:00 pm - 3 pm: Judging

Gator Game Bash

The second event is a single day video game gathering with tournaments of Nintendo Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Madden Football, and many more. Gator Game Bash with take place Saturday, August 4th from 10 am - 7 pm. 

Creative B Summer 2018

Established in 2010, Creative B is a summer program for students at the University of Florida that consolidates the collective resources and talents of the many creative programs at UF. Creative B participants can enjoy special programming, including a variety of live, cultural performances and a wide range of interdisciplinary activities.
