Looking to apply to the BADAS program this year? The Digital Worlds Institute provides a semesterly Portfolio Open House event for prospective students to learn more about the application process and get their portfolio reviewed by faculty, student ambassadors, and staff. Digital Worlds requires a portfolio representing foundational cross-disciplinary skills across three primary areas, digital design, time-based media, and interactive media and coding. Learn more about the BADAS Portfolio Requirements.
This semester, the Open House event will be virtual. Between 11 am and 1 pm, there will be a "Home-Room" style zoom meeting that will serve as a waiting room between review sessions with faculty. Participants are able to join and leave this meeting as they please. In Home-Room, staff and student ambassadors will present about admissions/portfolio requirements and answer questions. Simultaneously, the reviewers will have separately scheduled zoom meetings (signup below) with participants one-on-one. Throughout the event, participants will jump between Home-Room and portfolio review sessions.
