Student Ambassadors
DW Ambassadors collaborate with staff in developing student recruitment efforts, conduct informational presentations, tour visits, and online chat sessions. This year, the Ambassadors program is transitioning into a University Sponsored Student Organization. Through this shift, students in the organization will have a stronger sense of leadership, public communication, event planning skills, and time management. Students will have the opportunity to lead organized events independently, preparing them for their future career responsibilities. This program promotes high standards of excellence and gives DW students opportunities for professional development.
The Ambassadors’ role is to assist and provide support in the following areas, among others:
- Participate in recruitment and programs
- Greet and communicate with prospective students and families
- Personally host visiting professionals
- Conduct DW tours
